Puglia has always been a rich agricultural region. Amongst its specialities are olive oil (more than any other region), wine, tomatoes, artichokes, aubergines and wheat.

Fear not if you enjoy meat and fish – only 2km away is one of our favourite brachiarias, home-made pork and fennel sausages, steaks and veal.
