Getting Here
The house is located in its own private grounds four kilometres from the nearest towns and villages, so to get the most out of your stay the use of a car is recommended.
The two international airports serving Puglia are Brindisi and Bari. They are run by Aeroporti di Puglia and are both modern airports, with good facilities and services.
Brindisi is only a 40-minute drive from the villa, is a smaller, more relaxed and quicker process through arrivals, departures and car hiring process.
Bari airport is a longer 70-minute drive but with more direct flights all year round, sometimes the better, or only, option.
Flights from the UK
To Bari – direct from Gatwick (British Airways, easyJet) and Stansted (Ryanair). Heathrow usually involves a change, often at Milan.
To Brindisi – direct all year from Stansted (Ryanair), plus seasonal flights from Gatwick and Heathrow in the summer months.
RAIL
The easiest way to reach Puglia from the UK by rail is Eurostar to Paris, then a high-speed train to Milan, where you can break the journey overnight. From Milan, Intercity trains run down the Adriatic coast via Bologna, Rimini and Bari, often right beside the sea, straight to Ostuni, our local station.
More leisurely routes are of course possible as are combinations of plane and train and we would be very pleased to pass on our experience gained over the years.
